The Pipeline Expansion Joint (also known as Expansion Coupling or Limit Expansion Joint) is a core axial displacement compensation component in pipeline systems. It consists of an expansion tube, body, gland, and limit bolts.

Its primary function is to achieve allowable axial expansion and contraction, compensating for length changes caused by thermal expansion/contraction, foundation settlement, or installation deviations. It also facilitates the disassembly and maintenance of valves and pumps.
